So I got the new Williams Sonoma fall catalog and I must say....I am in LOVE. Pecan pumpkin filled pancakes were one of the many yummy recipes included, not to mention all of the amazing dishes, cookware, and thanksgiving decorations. I was instantly inspired and for some reason I can hardly wait for Thanksgiving. Just looking at the catalog made me want to break out the dishes and start cooking. I start to get that way when the weather turns cooler, the urge to make some yummy soup or a roast just takes over. You know those dishes that just instantly comfort you....mmmm...chicken n' dumplins. See just writing this makes me hungry. Does anyone else get this way? Well, I have already decided I am going to try some of these recipes. I will let you know how they turn out. Now I just have to find the time!

Raising my hand and waving frantically!! I've made pumpkin muffins (weight watchers version), curried butternut squash soup (borderline weight watchers...), blackberry pie (err...), applecrisp (uhh...), and 84,000 chocolate cupcakes (don't even kid yourself). Ahh fall!!
The pumpkin pancakes at IHop with a little butter pecan syrup on them are pretty fabulous too.
Do you have this pan ? It is on my to-get... Yum is right :)K
I don't have this pan but I think I might want it. Did you see the cool new crock pot that allows you to braise, bake,and slow cook all in the same pan! Ah..I am drooling. It is an exclusive though so pretty pricey.
